There’s nothing like a slow Saturday morning after the crazy work week and heading to brunch to catch up with family or friends! The Bloomington-Normal area is filled with many different brunch spots for you to dine and unwind. With the weather getting nicer, you could even enjoy your brunch out on the patios of many of these restaurants for some fresh air and fresh food. From pancakes and eggs to typical lunch fare, here are some restaurants in our area that will hit the spot for brunch!
DESTIHL Restaurant
DESTIHL’s Weekend Brunch is a must! Enjoy their patio on a Saturday morning with a Bloody Mary or Mimosa paired with one of their freshly made brunch items such as quiche, a monte cristo sandwich, huevos rancheros, and chicken and biscuits. Fort Jesse Cafe
Fort Jesse Cafe is a popular brunch spot with the locals. It’s a cheerful cafe serving hearty, diner-style breakfast, burgers and salads in bright, welcoming digs. The menu offers combinations that are a little risky, a lot of fun, and as fresh as possible. Medici
Medici in Uptown Normal serves up creative yet delicious brunch items for all ages. Enjoy unique plates like Brisket Eggs Benedict, House Frittata, Smoked Salmon Platter, as well as classics such as omelets, french toast, and breakfast pizza in their sophisticated and trendy atmosphere. The Original Pancake House
If you hit the snooze button too many times, don’t worry! You can still make it out to enjoy a delicious breakfast at the Original Pancake House. Open until 2pm, you and your friends can enjoy an authentic breakfast. The staff is sure to serve you a warm, amazing meal and will always keep your coffee (or freshly squeezed orange juice) filled.
