Spooky season is here! Grab your masks (your Halloween mask and your regular mask) and come check out these fun Halloween events in Bloomington-Normal! 

 

Downtown Bloomington Costume & Candy Crawl
All October
Downtown Bloomington

Dress up all month long and head to Downtown Bloomington! Participating businesses will be handing out candy or treats to trick or treaters who show up in costume or know the secret password (Creepy Crawly Downtown BLM). Click here to see participating businesses.

Normal Theater presents Halloween Classics
All October
Normal Theatre

There’s no better way to get in the spirit of Halloween than watching all of the spooky classics! The Normal Theater will be showing Beetlejuice, Hocus Pocus, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and more all October long. Click here to see their schedule!

The Haunted Trail presents Candy Corn Lane
October 9 & 16
One Normal Plaza

Take a trip down Candy Corn Lane and wave to princesses, superheroes, and other favorite characters along the way! Children 12 and under will receive a treat bag at the conclusion of the trail. For more information on this drive-thru Halloween event, click here.

Miller Park Zoo Spooktacular
October 23-25
Miller Park Zoo

Head out on a not-so-spooky scavenger hunt through the Zoo and say hi to the animals! Each child will receive a bag of treats, crafts, and candy on their way out. To learn more about this spooktacular event, click here.

Halloween Hoopla 2020 Style
October 29-November 1
Children’s Discovery Museum

This popular fall family event is designed for ghosts and goblins of all ages! Kids and grown-ups alike come in costume to celebrate Halloween with a haunted maze, fang-tastic crafts, games, and treats. To pre-register for this event, visit their website here.

Virtual Halloween Party
October 30
Downtown Bloomington

Cap off October with a virtual Halloween party! Tune in for a live performance of spooky songs by local band, Style in Stereo. Enjoy a few jokes and laughs all while participating in a virtual costume sharing and dance party! The virtual party will be held on the Downtown Bloomington Facebook page.

Trick-or-Treat at the David Davis Mansion

Come trick or treat at the David Davis Mansion! Wear your scariest, funniest, weirdest or prettiest costume and get candy! This is the perfect opportunity to take fun photos on the Mansion grounds. Click here for more info!
