Seven BN Halloween Activities

Treat Feast
October 27 |  5:00-6:30 pm
Grab your scary ghosts and ghouls and head to uptown Normal for a night of wonderful Trick or Treating! Uptown shops supply the candy and Uptown Partners supplies the entertainment as your little ones safely walk the streets of Uptown.


ShakesFEAR! A Haunted Halloween Experience
October 27-29 |  7:00-10:00 pm
Have you ever wanted to meet the spooky characters in Shakespeare’s stories? Well, now you can! Old Bill himself will be giving 25-minute group tours of the grounds of Ewing Cultural Center, and will introduce you to some of his most haunting creations.


Freaky Friday Night at the Pepsi Ice Center
October 28 | 7:30-9:00 pm
Bring your Halloween costume and enjoy door prizes, candy, and music at the Pepsi Ice Center. You’ll receive a free glow necklace with each paid admission, so you’ll glow as you skate around the rink!


Howl at the Market
October 29 | 7:30 am-12:00 pm
The Downtown Bloomington Farmers’ Market is a producer-only market that gives customers the opportunity to buy locally grown and produced farm products—such as vegetables, fruits, cheeses, meats, eggs, herbs, and more. Kids are encouraged to wear their Halloween costume!


A Walk into the Past-Victorian Halloween Tea
October 29 | 2:00-3:30 pm
Join The Tea Ladies for a festive afternoon together! Guests are invited to wear a tasteful Victorian Halloween costume to tea, but they are not required. The Vrooman Mansion staff promises a gorgeous tea buffet featuring a generous selection of delicious Autumn sweets and savories along with hot tea and refreshing punch to enjoy.


Miller Park Zoo Spooktacular
October 30 | 12:00-3:00 pm
Show off your Halloween costume and enjoy crafts, local vendors, up close animal encounters, and of course, candy! This event is free with Zoo admission.


Trick or Treating at the Manor
October 31 | 4:00-6:00 pm
Walk the garden paths of Ewing Manor, take photos, and come into the manor to receive a treat!
