What | Holiday Open House

Where | Uptown Normal

When | Saturday, November 14; 11am – 3pm

This event is the perfect way to jump start your holiday shopping. Uptown is home to an array of locally owned shops that can provide that special someone with the perfectly unique gift. Enjoy free carriage rides around Uptown Circle and stay on the lookout for Santa Claus!


What | Third Sunday Market

Where | The Interstate Center

When | Sunday, November 15; 8am – 4pm

Crafts, collectibles, antiques, you’ll never know what you’ll find at Third Sunday Market! This is another event that provides you the perfect opportunity to hunt for that wonderfully distinctive, one-of-a-kind Christmas gift.


What | Jeff Tracta: Impressionist, Comedian, Singer

Where | Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts

When | Sunday, November 15; 2 pm

Known to soap opera fans as Thorne Forrester from the long-running CBS drama, The Bold & The Beautiful, Jeff is one of the truly under appreciated talents in the business. From current music artists—like Bruno Mars, Pharrell Williams, The Black Eyed Peas  to legendary icons such as Bob Dylan, Billy Joel, and Elton John, Jeff’s show will leave you asking, “Is that really him doing ALL those impressions?!”


What | The Blessings of the Table: Thanksgiving at Clover Lawn

Where | The David Davis Mansion

When | Now – Friday, November 20; 9am – 4pm

The Mansion will be decorated for Thanksgiving, and each day the bountiful foods, family celebrations and charitable customs of the period will be featured.  In addition to the Mansion’s collection of antique china and rare silver, visitors will see the large variety of delicious foods that were typical of a Thanksgiving celebration in the Victorian age – a traditional feast of turkey, pumpkin pie, and all the trimmings.


What | Thanksgiving Farmer’s Market

Where | Grossinger Motors Arena

When | Saturday, November 21, 10am – 1pm

Need some last-minute items for your Thanksgiving feast? Stop by the farmers’ market and grab some fresh ingredients!


What | 37th Annual Turkey Trot

Where | Miller Park Pavilion

When | Thursday, November 26; 8am – 11am

Whether you run in the kids’ half mile, the 3 mile race for all ages or walk the one-and-a-half miles through Miller Park, you are sure to find a great opportunity for a fun, family-friendly event to kick-start your holiday feast! Coffee, hot chocolate and frozen turkey prizes will be available.
