Bloomington Beer Fest
When | Friday, August 21 and Saturday, August 22
Where | Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts
Time | Doors open at 5 pm on Friday and at 2 pm on Saturday
August in downtown has become synonymous with craft beer tasting and live music. Headlining the festival this year are Phil Vassar and Matthew Curry, with additional performances by AKA, Chris Corkery, The Fire, and more.
Bruegala: A Festival of Beer and Wine
When | Friday, August 28 and Saturday, August 29
Where | The Corn Crib
Time | 5 pm -11 pm
The 16th Annual Bruegala Beer and Wine Festival will offer over 300 beers, 50 wines multiple food vendors and live music. Run by the Bloomington-Normal Jaycees, the event has raised over $160,000 for local charities in the past four years.

2015 marks Normal’s 150th birthday and the town is pulling out all of the stops for a one-of-a-kind celebration, including performances by the Flying Wallendas, the Gamma Phi Circus and historical portrayals at the Normal Theater.
