Hill of a Race Obstacle Run
Join us for the ultimate outdoor fitness challenge in Bloomington on Saturday, Oct. 7 at Ewing Park 2. From the recreational enthusiast, to the competitive obstacle runner, to kids ages 7+, this event offers a fun challenge for everyone!
This 3 mile obstacle run will include, lifting, carrying, climbing, crawling as well as agility and balance. Participate in the competitive wave or just for fun in the recreational waves. The first wave (competitive) begins at 2pm with waves (recreational) starting every 15 minutes. Kids ages 7 – 15 must participate with a registered adult. Event shirts will be provided to everyone who registers before early bird registration ends on Sept 8.
The full map with a list of obstacles will be released closer to the event. Prizes will be given to the top three men and top three women in the competitive wave.
Free clinics will be offered through PR&CA and Dustin Webb as a fun way to prepare for the race. Clinic times are Wednesday, Sept. 13th from 6 – 7pm and Saturday, Sept 16th from 8:30 – 10am. Clinics are not mandatory but do require advance registration through https://recweb.cityblm.org/
